The Best Makeup from 2014 Oscars

The Best Makeup from 2014 Oscars

On Sunday, we were treated to the Oscar red carpet in Los Angeles, CA. The night is always all about the fashion, however I am also intrigued by the beautiful hair and makeup gliding down the red carpet.  Here are some of my favorite looks of the night!

Lupita Nyong’oLupita-Nyongo-Academy-Awards-2014

No surprise, I loved Lupita Nyong’o’s classic look. It’s no secret I am lover of headbands and I am thrilled with how Lupita paired her classic girl next door Fred Leighton headband with these edgy earrings. I love the Chanel Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour in 136 Mélodieuse Lupita is wearing.

Olivia WildeOlivia-Wilde-Academy-Awards-2014

My other favorite look of the evening was Olivia Wilde. The mother to be absolutely glowed on the red carpet in a sultry cat eye. Her makeup artist used  Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black as well as Revlon’s ColorStay Liquid Liner in Blackest Black to create that precisely winged-out line. For eye shadow, she is wearing Revlon’s new ShadowLinks in taupe for a soft shimmer on the eyelids. For her lip color, she wore Revlon’s Matte Balm and Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink Cognito.

Jessica BielJessica-Biel-Academy-Awards-2014

Jessica Biel also brought glamour to the red carpet. She seriously has one of the BEST bodies in hollywood. I want her to be my gym buddy. I adore her! Jessica is wearing CK One Color Cream + Powder Blush Duo in Breath on the cheeks with a mix of Tarte LipSurgence Matte Lip Tint in Lucky and CK One Color Lip Gloss in Quirky for lip color.

Kerry WashingtonKerry-Washington-Academy-Awards-2014

Kerry Washington gave me something different than most of the other actresses on the red carpet. Since we are so close to spring, I would have expected a lighter color pallet for makeup. The Scandal actress looked beautiful nonetheless. Kerry is wearing Giorgio Armani Rouge d’Armani Lipstick in #609 Plum topped withNeutrogena MoistureSmooth Color Stick in Rich Raisin for shine

Cate BlanchettCate-Blanchett-Academy-Awards-2014

Fashion icon Cate Blanchett brought her A game as usual! Cate the Great looked so beautiful and classic. She let her earrings and gown do all the talking. Cate’s lipstick is Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstacy in #103 Incognito. The eyeshadows are from Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow Quad in #2 Effeto Nudo, and the blush is Giorgio Armani Sheer Blush in #10 Beige.

Angelina Jolie was simply GORGEOUS! Her smoky eyes and nude lip was so subtle and beautiful.

Sandra Bullocksandra-bullock-oscars-2014-academy-awards-lead1

Sandra Bullock is one of those actresses proving this is no longer your mother’s 50! The stunning beauty who has always been America’s sweetheart is turning 50 this year and she couldn’t be hotter. She brought old hollywood glam to the Oscars and she just commanded attention.

Overall, there were a lot of beautiful looks on the red carpet, albeit safer than I would have expected.
