Last week I attended the G.L.A.M. (Giving Labels a Meaning) event in Washington, DC to shop for a good cause. The organization hosted a pop-up shopping event to benefit Safe Shores DC , a child advocacy group. G.L.A.M. donates 100% of event proceeds to Safe Shores. I LOVE shopping therefore buying beautiful clothes and making a difference was a no brainer for me. Guests were treated a number of clothing and accessory shops, an open bar and a fashion show.

Meet the ladies of Runway Wheels. They have taken the food truck idea and applied it to fashion. I will be writing an in-depth piece about their business model in the next two weeks!
