I just had an amazing Labor Day weekend with my friends in Boston. We painted the town red! However, that also meant I came home late with a face of makeup and really had zero interest in washing my face before bed. I will say it here, NEVER go to sleep in your makeup!
So in comes makeup remover wipes. They are a good option for the late night occasions similar to the one I had. Alas, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but here you go. Makeup remover wipes really should be used one of two ways, either before your cleanser to take off hard to remove makeup such as waterproof mascara. The other is using your makeup remover wipes to remove the last traces of makeup your cleanser may have missed.
In both cases, you are still washing your face as you normally would. If not used correctly, wipes can do more harm than good. Wipes push makeup further into pores, leaving you with a dirtier face than when you started.
All of that being said, if washing your face the old fashion way is not an option, makeup remover wipes are still better than going to sleep with your makeup on.
